About Me

Hey, I'm Dylan,
I was born and raised in New Hampshire - in a small town where everyone knew everyone and where the winters seemed to last forever. For as long as I can remember I have been known as the “artsy kid.” Whether it was drawing a tattoo for someone, designing the homecoming T-shirts, always being found in the art room, or working on a project with my little sister, my life seemed to be surrounded by art.
I got very close to my art teacher in middle school, and it was he who showed me that I could apply my love for art and make a career out of it. While I originally saw myself becoming a graphic designer, I soon learned how there was a whole different side of the art world that I hadn’t even explored before.
This discovery introduced me to the world of film, cinematography and the post-production of movies and commercials. It was not long before I fell in love with the prospect of working for a movie or commercial company.
With this dream in mind, I visited multiple schools that would allow me to pursue this discipline. After I toured the Savannah College of Art and Design, the decision was very easy.
I am currently a Nuke Compositor/Junior VFX Supervisor working at Blacksmith VFX in New York City, focusing in mainly commercial work as well as some film and episodic projects.
